When Californian electronic producer Giraffage aka Charlie Yin gets to Australia in March, he wants to fulfil his dream of riding in the pouch of a kangaroo. Giraffage released 'Too Real' last year, his debut album after a series of EPs and mixtapes. A self-described 'music nerd', Giraffage brings a wealth of eclectic sounds and beats to his productions. Ahead of the 'Too Real' tour, we get real with Giraffage and ask him about the album, touring and of course, kangaroos.

Following these successes the producer played a number of esteemed electronic venues across the States and went on a date European tour in with Orlando producer XXYYXX. The album depicts the very difficult and personal time the producer had during college with a mix of aptly used samples and a trippy vibe. Boy, were we wrong! Think: Future, 8Bit, Trap and Unicorns all mixed together to create a wave of mind melting sounds that ask your body and brain to move to the beat. When you're at a live set put on by Giraffage, every time he transitions to a new song the crowd goes crazy! Everyone is on the same level, enjoying the same sounds and songs, on the same beat. If you get a chance to look at the crowd from the outside, you'd probably notice the crowd moves in unison as they jump and chant and fist pump til 2am!
